BEST AUTHENTIC KOREAN FOOD IN COLUMBUS. The restaurant is inside the market and you have to order up front and then take your receipt to the kitchen. Also, Arirang Market is a great place to shop for your Korean groceries.

Every bite warrants an aggressive “MMMM”. The dining room is closed, which is not advertised on Google. But that led to an opportunity to check out the Columbus park of roses, which was a beautiful place to devour this scrumptious meal of bibimbap, kimbap, bean paste stew, and kimchi pancake. This restaurant is inside a grocery store, you order at the cash register in front. You are given a ticket to take back to the kitchen. For us, it was a 10-15 minute wait.

Message for the Owner: Please PLEASE bring back ttukbaegi for soon tofu and the other soupy dishes…! We’ve tried a lot of soon tofu jigae in various Korean restaurants in Columbus, and Nara’s tastes absolute the best. But without it being boiling hot until you finish eating, it’s just never as good We’re so glad you are doing eat-in again. Arirang’s kimchi is also the best. We also hope you bring back pajeon - that’s one of the very few dishes my small kid can have.

Delicious delicious delicious gimbap!! Dining room is closed. It’s inside the market! $10 minimum on card. So convenient to grab market things and a quick meal.

I was devastated when they announced they were closing a little over a year ago. When I saw that they recently reopened, I almost cried!! This place is a major part of my childhood, and I've taken almost everyone I could here over the years to introduce them to wonderful food. The prices are more than fair, and honestly with the quality of the food that you get, they COULD be charging closer to what standard sit-down table service restaurants charge! The staff is SO sweet, and their food is honestly better than any other Korean restaurant around! You can tell every dish is made with so much care and attention. Everything feels and tastes home-cooked. You'd never find this place if you didn't already know about it. Those are the best types of places, too (-; If you haven't been here yet and love Korean cuisine, please consider stopping by!! You order at the front cash wrap, they give you a paper ticket and you drop it off at the kitchen in the back. Your food wll come up at the counter soon after! Enjoy some wonderful barley tea while you wait!

Authentic Korean food for a reasonable price. Portion sizes for the bibimbap were huge and I could barely finish it. This is hidden in the back of a Korean supermarket and you can shop while waiting for your food.

This is my husband and I’s favorite Korean place to visit when we are in Columbus. This place shows that Korean food does not need to be expensive to be delicious. It’s a small cafeteria style restaurant in the back of Arirang Oriental Market. We got so much food and only paid around $20. We ordered Budae-jjigae and Kimbap. It comes with side dishes. Normally this stew is expensive in other restaurants, but here it’s less that $12! They have water available, but we like to also buy drinks inside the market. After we eat, we like to go shopping around the market.
